THE EVENT - Now in its third year House Folk brings you three fantastic nights of Scottish traditional music mixed with a contemporary flare and performed by well renowned artists. Each evening is different from the other offering a variety of instrumentals, styles and repertoire, providing a blend of great music for everyone.

THE VENUE - The venue this year is MacGregor's Barn at Ledard Farm a highly historic & rustic 17th Century baronial hall offering the most intimate of concert experiences by candle light and with a capacity of only 80 people it brings you close to the artists.

PERFORMANCE & PROGRAM -

By clicking on the e-program above you will see the details of each of the acts performing at this year's festival. To find out more about them just click on their pictures and the artists website will appear. Pictures and links on the e-program are fully interactive so just click and go. Each evening offers two fantastic acts, the first act performs a 45 minute set and the main act performs in two 45 minute sets. With a 15 minute break between sets the last act would finish their performance at 10.15pm approximately.

RECOMMENDATIONS - For all concerts we recommend that you arrive at the venue for 7pm giving you plenty of time to have a complimentary drink in the Stables bar before taking your seats for the first performance which starts at 7.30pm. Please note that you can bring your own refreshments if you wish.

THE FINAL FLING - It is tradition that after the Saturday concert the professional acts and others provide a jamming session in the Stables bar and you are more than welcome to stay behind and take part. This party goes into the wee small hours and is the real ceilidh experience so be prepared!

THE TICKET COST - The program has the cost details for each night. Thursday and Friday are £15 per night and Saturday night is £20 - (this also includes the party after). All concerts include a complimentary drink on arrival. Please note that if you buy all three nights you get a 20% discount and get the whole festival for just £40.

PURCHASING TICKETS - You can purchase tickets by contacting Gregor through e-mail or by telephone, as detailed in the e-program. Tickets can be paid for by cash, cheque or through secure Paypal e-mail where you can use debit or credit card - (please note that paypal charge a fee on transactions, you will be advised of that fee at the time of booking).

FUTURE FESTIVALS - To keep you updated you can subscribe to the database Friends of the House Folk, which informs you of future events.
