The Royal Bank of Scotland provides a mobile bank service that visits the village. There is also a Bank of Scotland branch in Aberfoyle.

Buses

There are no scheduled routes serving Kinlochard. Stirling Council supports a 'Demand Responsive Transport' (DRT) scheme serving the Strathard area, operated by Aberfoyle Coaches.

Community Council

Strathard Community Council meets on the first Thursday of every month, alternating between Aberfoyle Memorial Hall, Kinlochard and Inversnaid Primary School.

Half an hour prior to our meetings a local Stirling Councillor holds a surgery for residents who wish to raise issues or concerns.

Aberfoyle has a small Police station that is only open when an Officer is in the office. In the event of the police office being unstaffed, please use the Call Point provided.
