Book Club
The Book Group was established in July 2011. The group works in partnership with Stirling Council's Library Service and as much as possible borrows books from the Library Service stock. This supports the Library Service and the books are delivered locally by the Mobile Library.
The group meets every 6-8 weeks in the Village Hall and the cost of the room is shared amongst the attendees. Tea and coffee is available free of charge.

Fishing
Loch Ard consists of approximately 600 Acres of waters of varying depths down to 100 meters in beautiful National Park surroundings. The loch waters have been fished for centuries and offer good fishing conditions for fly fishing of brown trout and varied coarse fishing for pike and perch. The trout fishing season runs from 15th March to 6th October annually.

Bridge in the Local Area
Bridge, the card game, has been declared a sport for inclusion in the 2018 Asian Games held in Tokyo. So now bridge can be considered part of your sporting regime. So if you are a bridge player you might like to consider one of the following.
Drymen Bridge Club: A small bridge club which meets at Drymen Village Hall on a Thursday afternoon. Doors open at 13.00 and play begins at 13.15. We welcome new members, most Thursdays we have a 'standby' so you can turn up without a partner. On the last Thursday of each month we run our season long competition when you would need to have a regular partner. There is a modest table charge and at the end of the session we enjoy a cup tea together usually just after 16.00. We start our new season on Thursday 6*™ September and would be delighted to see you then or any Thursday throughout our season.
For more information contact John MacGregor on 01877.387287
Kinlochard Village Bridge Workshop: A very small group of learners who meet on a Wednesday evening. This is very much a learning group and beginners are very welcome. Doors open at 19.00 and we try to start by 19.30. On occasion we give way to the Local History Group who meet about six times a year and share the hall with us on a Wednesday night. There is a modest table charge and tea/coffee is provided. We are starting our new season (and back to the first lesson) on Wednesday 12th September.
For more information contact John MacGregor on 01877.387287
Killearn Bridge Club: Another local club which has its own adverts (hopefully on this notice board).
