Access to Lochside Community Field

Throughout the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park, legal provision has been made to occasionally exempt certain areas from public use for short periods. The Lochside Community Field is one of these areas and on these occasions, access to the field from the gates, the shore and the loch is not possible.

This is to enable the immediate environs of the Village Hall to be used in conjunction with a private event or special function during the hire period. On the above Saturdays, an Access Exemption Order means that there will be no public access to the Lochside community field. With plenty of advance warning here, and on our locally placed notices, it is hoped that you will plan for these dates and be prepared to access other points on Loch Ard, or explore other lochs in the National Park area.

Your co-operation on these occasions helps to balance the requirements of the local community and the hall users, and it is much appreciated. Thank you.
