Kinlochard Village Hall offers a unique and flexible venue where couples can choose what sort of day suits them and their guests best.
A wedding booking allows you a whole day to set up beforehand, and until noon the day after to clear up. From your initial expression of interest, through to the wedding day itself, we will provide whatever help and support we can to ensure your wedding is extra special.
You can also access the lochside field and get married outside - weather permitting!

We have round and rectangular tables that can be used, as well as 60 turquoise upholstered conference chairs, 60 red banqueting chairs and a further 80 moulded plastic chairs. Some couples also choose to hire different chairs or chair covers.
Booking a Wedding
You can check if your preferred dates are available by looking at our booking calendar. This will ensure that you get the support you need as the planning proceeds.

Cost is £1,800 (plus a returnable deposit of £300). The cost is payable in 3 parts : a non-refundable deposit of £300 at booking, £800 three months after booking and the balance of £1,000, 8 weeks prior to your wedding. The £300 deposit will be returned after the wedding minus any deductions for damage.
There are reduced costs for weddings with less than 30 guests - price on enquiry.

The hire cost covers use of the Hall from 9am the day before the wedding until 12 noon the day after the wedding. It includes use of tables and chairs to accommodate all your guests in whatever configuration you choose. The tables are mixed between rectangular and round and the chairs are a mix of blue conference chairs and red banqueting chairs. You may also choose to hire chairs. There is a range of glasses, cutlery and plates etc. which you can use but we would recommend you hire glassware.

We have an online calendar showing all hall bookings . Please note that we do restrict the number of weddings we hold each year so whilst your preferred dates may well be showing as available on our calendar, it is best to check with us that we have available capacity to hold another wedding in any given year.

As we have neighbours, we do need all events to end at midnight latest.

We do ask that you leave the hall in a reasonable, tidy state as you have found it, but KVH will undertake all cleaning. Caterers are expected to clean the cooker if used.

There is disabled parking and limited parking for guests. We would encourage guests staying nearby to travel by taxi to the hall to avoid parking congestion.

Unfortunately not. Neither fireworks nor Chinese Lanterns are allowed. Our policy is for no open flame candles and only non-staining, natural flower confetti is allowed.
